hina “heensie” low, lead stylist

Hina “Heensie” Low is a stylist and size inclusivity educator with over a decade of experience helping people reconnect with their personal style in a way that feels authentic, sustainable, and free of outdated rules that hinder your relationship with your body and identity.

Her approach is rooted in deep listening, warmth, wardrobe guidance that bridges personal expression and everyday ease—and the firm belief that style should be accessible to every body—not reserved for a narrow ideal. She works virtually with clients around the world through her private personal styling platform.

Hina attended Humber Polytechnic, studying Fashion Arts and Business. She also has an educational background in visual arts, as well as multimedia design and development. Hina has consulted for industry leaders such as Pinterest and Visa, supported apparel brands on size inclusive launches, and has been featured in publications including ELLE, Business Insider, Oprah Daily, InStyle, People Magazine, The Kit, NYMag and Forbes. In 2023, she was selected for Pinterest’s Creator Inclusion Fund for her dedication to size inclusivity, and in 2022, she was nominated for an ASVOFF (A Shaded View on Fashion Film) award for her style education content. Her social media content on size inclusive style has cultivated an audience of over 100,000. Whether supporting someone one-on-one or contributing to a broader creative vision, her goal is always to create a styling experience that feels affirming, collaborative, and genuinely meaningful.

When Hina isn’t working, she loves to spend time with her spouse and their two bunnies (one of which was rescued from Rabbit Rescue Inc., an organization very close to Hina’s heart). She is passionate about mutual aid and volunteering, and has volunteered with WoodGreen Community Services, Women United - United Way, The Red Door Family Shelter, Epilepsy Toronto, Youth Assisting Youth, and established her own community initiative called Community Curve, bringing needed plus sized clothing into local shelters.

My approach to personal styling is encouraging, creative, and firmly size neutral. I work with clients of all sizes, ages, and genders, and I am committed to challenging fatphobia and other body-based stigmas in all aspects of my work. I offer styling that bridges personal expression with everyday ease, helping you build a wardrobe that feels intuitive and natural in your daily routines, as well as genuinely enjoyable.

There’s a general pathway I’ve created, shaped by what I’ve found most helpful through years of working with clients — you can check it out here. If it’s not quite what you’re looking for, I’m always happy to tailor our approach to suit your specific needs. Together, we might explore areas such as style discovery, colour analysis, size-neutral shape and fit guidance, personal shopping (with a focus on size-inclusive sourcing), and editing your current closet. Of course, every client’s journey is unique and we’ll prioritize the areas that feel most relevant and meaningful to you.

If you’re looking for focused support in one specific area, a 60-minute virtual styling session might be a great fit. For those seeking a full wardrobe refresh, my comprehensive styling package will be the best choice.

For a special event or photoshoot, I’ll craft a selection of looks tailored to your personal style and the specifics of your occasion. From concept to final fitting, I’ll manage every detail, ensuring each piece aligns with the vision we create together. I work with plus sized clients, and individuals of all sizes, to create looks that make them feel at home in their clothing and body, while celebrating their unique features. It’s important to me that even on a special occasion, you never feel like you’re wearing a costume—and that you experience sensory joy, not just a great look! Throughout the entire process, I’ll ensure you feel at ease and fully prepared for the big day. I’m committed to ensuring that those who’ve been excluded or overlooked by the fashion industry feel genuinely supported, seen, and set up for success in every step of the styling process. I prioritize sourcing from brands that actively reflect and respect a wide range of sizes, gender expressions, ages, and cultural identities—because representation matters at every level of the styling process, and you deserve to feel truly seen in your clothing.
